Ryan is a great motivator, I can turn up for abs and circuits feeling tired and exhausted after a hard days work, however, Ryan’s enthusiasm never fails to drive me to do my personal best and I feel great after each session. Ryan is a great personal trainer too giving in-depth thought and planning into each session. I don’t know anyone who isn’t driven by Ryan personality and positive nature, this has helped me achieve great results over the years. Circuits are darn hard work but they are good fun as they are always varied and working out as a team with a great bunch of people is inspiring.
Ryan is a great Personal Trainer, he tailors every session specifically to you and your goals, keeps workouts varied, and always makes sure you’re giving it your all (definitely doesn’t let you slack). Ryan is very good at keeping you motivated, knows exactly what you need to do to achieve your goals and consistently watches your technique, offering advice on how to improve and always ensuring you are doing it right to prevent injury. Not only does he provide great workouts, but he offers nutritional tips/advice whenever required. Would definitely recommend
ts crazy what you can achieve in just under 8 months with the right help and mindset. No fad diets or meal replacement crap, just a change in a few dietary things and an increase in exercising PROPERLY. I just want to also say a HUGE thank you to @ryannicoll1992 at @ryvalfitness for all your help, encouragement and dedication for helping me look the way I do today. I approached Ryan around May 2014 to help me shed weight and get in shape before my wedding in September. Ryan agreed to help and we started off doing one PT session per week. Anyone who knows me knows how much I hate the gym. But Ryan made it bearable and at times fun even. The weight started to come off slowly and then I increased my sessions to 2 per week. Within 3 weeks of my wedding date I had reached my goal weight and lost 2 stone in total, as well as lots of inches around my body. I am so thrilled that the hard work paid off. I cannot thank Ryan enough and owe it all to him. He was patient, professional and caring, always checking how my diet was going and offering advice and support inside and outside the gym. He kept me on track even when I felt like giving up. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending him to anyone wanting to lose weight, improve their fitness and/or tone up. I used to be an average gym user who worked out on my own regularly but I knew that I wasn't making any real gains or progress and so as I was approaching my 40th birthday I decided to employ a personal trainer for a "few sessions" to get me back on track. Then I met Ryan! The first session we had together was like nothing I had experienced before and my body didn't know what had hit it. Ryan's training style was fun but completely pushed me to my limits so I immediately achieved what I thought was impossible. After those first few sessions I felt much fitter straight away and I was hooked. Two and a half years later I'm still working with Ryan each week and enjoy it as much as ever. In all this time Ryan has never given me the same workout twice and I'm constantly pushed to achieve more. He regularly introduces new exercises, styles and techniques to keep me interested and to raise my fitness levels further. Ryan has also encouraged me to push myself outside of our personal training sessions. I have attended numerous group exercise classes which he has taken including circuits, athletic fitness, tabata, spin, core, TRX and Swiss ball. Every class is fun but hard work and Ryan always manages to differentiate the activities to meet the fitness levels of all the individual participants. Before I met Ryan I had never run in my life but he encouraged me to have a goal of completing the 10 mile Great South Run. I am now about to run it for the third time, I have completed 100 5k parkruns and I am in training for my first half marathon. All things which I would never have considered without his support and encouragement. The increase in my fitness levels has also affected other areas of my life. I have much more self-confidence than I used to have. This summer I had no worries about taking my t-shirt off on the beach - something I was always too embarrassed to do before Ryan got me into shape. In short, since I began working with Ryan my life has been completely transformed. I am a fitter, healthier and more self-confident person. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
Myself and a friend have been working with Ryan since the beginning of the year, during which time we have been participating in personalised circuit pt sessions. Ryan has demonstrated his ability in being able to adapt the sessions to meet our differing physical capabilities. The sessions are nearly always fun, even if we moan a bit about some of the exercises we are given. If you are looking for someone to encourage and support you, then Ryan is definitely the PT for you. Thanks also Ryan for helping me to prepare and complete Fit Brit this year, which is an achievement in itself!
